1. Who is Jackson Associates?

Jackson Associates is a local marketing research company that has been in business for over 50 years. We are a member of national and local chapters of the American Marketing Association and the Marketing Research Association. We do all types of interviewing - from stopping people in shopping malls to get their opinion about a new movie to interviewing top executives in Fortune 500 companies about the stock market, from doing telephone surveys about commercials to interviewing doctors about new medical procedures.

2. What is Marketing Research?

Marketing Research is the main way that you, the consumer, have of telling businesses what you like about products and services. There is never any selling involved in market research. Everything you say is remains anonymous.

3. Why did you contact me?

There are any number of ways we may have gotten your contact information. You may have filled out a form and sent it to us or signed up online. Our client may have sent us a list of people they wanted us to contact.

4. Why should I participate in the study?

A small number of people are invited to participate in research studies. You have been chosen because you fit certain criteria, so your answers represent a large segment of the population.

5. What happens during the survey?

That depends on the type of study you are attending.

At a FOCUS GROUP you will meet with 8-10 other people to discuss a product, service, or idea that is of interest to all of you. There will be a moderator to lead the discussion, and we are sure you will find this an interesting and fun experience. Naturally, you are always compensated for your time.

At an INTERVIEW there will be you and an interviewer who will ask you questions. There are no right or wrong answers to these questions - just your opinion. You may see an ad for a product, an idea for a new product or service, or be asked to taste or test a new product. M

6. Why do you ask personal questions?

Like your age or income? It's because we must have representation in our surveys of certain demographic segments of the population. For more information about personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Will I be called after the study?

We realize you feel you have given us enough time and answered enough questions, so every effort is made not to call you back about a survey you have already done. There are exceptions, however. You may have agreed to take home a product to try and we will call you for your reactions to it. You will know this before you agree to take the product. The interviewer may have skipped a question or marked an answer incorrectly and we need the missing information. Our clients occasionally call respondents as a follow-up and a quality assurance measure, to ensure that we have completed the project properly and according to their specifications.

Your name, phone number and address are confidential and are never "sold" to companies that compile mailing lists or sales prospects. If you ever have any questions or comments about a follow up call you receive, please call our office.

8. How often can I participate?

Most of our clients require we not interview the same people very often. There is usually a minimum of six months between the times you can participate.

9. Who are some of your clients?

Jackson Associates can never identify the client on a particular study, although it may become obvious during the survey. We do conduct work for local and national companies.

 

TANGO FAQs

What is TANGO E-GIFT CARD?

Tango E-Gift Card is the "get exactly what you want" electronic gift card. You can choose how, where, and exactly what you want to use it for. Redeem for digital gift cards like Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, and more - restaurants, retailers, travel, etc. You can even split your Tango reward and redeem for any combination of our gift cards.

When will I receive my reward?

Please refer to your confirmation letter email that contains details about when to expect payment. Typically your reward will be emailed within two business days of the project's completion (once everyone in the study has participated). If you haven't received your reward within the specified time or may have deleted the email, refer to numbers 7 and 8 below.

How will the reward be sent to me?

  • Jackson Associates uploads a file to Tangocard.com, who emails you the Tango Card reward link to the address we have on file.
  • The Sender will be Jackson Associates
  • The sender's email address will be [email protected]. You may wish to add this email address to your Safe Senders list to avoid emails being moved to your spam or junk folder.
  • The Subject Line should read "Your reward from Jackson Associates is here".

How do I spend my Reward Link?

  • Click your Reward Link - you'll be taken to a page with reward options (in alphabetical order)
  • Choose an e-gift card or other reward option
  • Select the value of the card (you cannot choose more than your remaining balance)
  • Select "Add to Cart"
  • If you have remaining balance and would like to choose another option, repeat Steps 2-4
  • Once you have selected all the e-gift cards you want, click "Checkout"
  • Enter your name and your email address and check the box acknowledging the terms
  • Click "Complete My Order"
  • Your e-gift card(s) will arrive in your email inbox

Can I use electronic gift cards in-store?

Absolutely! Most electronic retail gift cards offered can be used in-store by simply printing out the E gift card and presenting it to the cashier. However, some retailers have special instructions for in-store use. Be sure to double-check how your retailer wants you to use your gift card in store before you go to the store.

Can I combine multiple Reward Links?

At this time, you need to spend your Reward Link value independently.

Do Reward Links expire?

Reward Link balances do not expire unless otherwise noted in the original email containing your Reward Link.

What should I do if my reward hasn't been received within the time period indicated in my confirmation letter?

After checking your spam folder for an email from Jackson Associates ([email protected]), if you have not received your reward by the time indicated in the confirmation letter, please contact [email protected] and include the following information so we can research the issue:

  • Subject line - Reward Inquiry for Project xxxx (xxxx = project ID number) (Example: Reward Inquiry for Project 5005)
  • Body of email - include the following:
    • Your full name
    • The date you participated
    • Copy / paste the information about payment from your confirmation or reminder letter

Someone will research the payment and will reply to you within one business day

What should I do if I deleted the email link before redeeming the Reward Link?

Follow the email instructions in number 7 above. We will research the item and resend the email.

What should I do if I run into issues once I have redeemed a Reward Link?
